About the Job

Based in our London office, you will be responsible for developing and deploying websites using our in-house products. In addition to this you will be required to develop some of our smaller bespoke website projects.

You will be expected to own multiple web development projects, seeing them through the entire life cycle. This involves writing clear technical specification documents, thorough testing, and supporting your work after it goes live.

You will need to work well in a team environment, being comfortable coding both alone and with other developers on larger projects. In addition to strong technical skills, we are looking for someone with strong inter-personal and communication skills since you will frequently be expected to interact direct with our clients.

This is a junior role with the opportunity to progress into a more advanced role in the future.

Reports To: Technical Development Manager

Responsibilities

· Develop and deploy websites using our in-house products

· Develop our smaller bespoke websites and contribute to larger projects

· Support our existing clients

Preferred Qualifications

· BSc Computer Science (or equivalent degree)

· Experience in at least one of the following: PHP, Javascript, Ruby

· Experience in XHTML/HTML and CSS

· Experience in either PostgreSQL or MySQL (or similar)

· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

· Good written and verbal communication skills
